The problem worth solving
Medely is a workforce-orchestration marketplace that connects healthcare facilities with nurses and allied professionals. Facilities need to fill shifts fast and keep care running; clinicians want flexible work on their own terms. Serving both sides of that marketplace well — at scale, across web and mobile — is the core design challenge.
What I owned
I lead design for the entire end-to-end experience across both sides of the marketplace — the facility and the nurse or allied professional. Beyond shipping product, I've pushed for higher design standards and consistent patterns, reworked the design system, and built the processes and relationships that let a fast-scaling product stay coherent.
Approach & key decisions
The product work is about making a complex two-sided system feel simple for each audience: confident shift and workforce management for facilities, flexible discovery and booking for clinicians. I pair that with the operational side — elevating UX quality, improving efficiency for both external users and internal Medely teams, and strengthening how product, design, and engineering work together through design operations and systems governance.
What I'd carry forward
This engagement is ongoing — a fuller write-up with measured outcomes will follow as the work ships.
