The throughline
Across Lendi, Mindbody, and Medely I kept solving the same meta-problem: design had grown fragmented across surfaces and teams, and no one owned it as a system. I made owning it — the language, the components, and the way teams work — part of my remit, whether or not it was in the brief.
Building the system
At Mindbody I rebuilt the component library from tokens up — reducing four libraries to one, meeting accessibility standards, and documenting usage for both designers and engineers.
Navigation & architecture
I re-architected primary navigation (1.0 → 2.0) to cut cognitive load and give teams a consistent structure to build against.
Ways of working
Beyond artifacts, I introduced shared design-to-dev workflows and critique cadences so design and engineering worked from one source of truth — reducing handoff time and rework.
Impact
Four libraries unified into one, adopted across four product teams, roughly 40% faster handoff — and a repeatable operating model I've carried from company to company.
